The little things.

You know that saying about how the 'little things' count?
I think it's one of those things you don't really understand, until you understand it. Get me? I hope so.

Well, this 'Temporary New York' thing... I have to admit, I never really believed it at first. I gave Brisbane this title in a desperate hope that it would live up to it's name, but never really believed it would...

Well, now... It has.

How, you may ask?
...it's the little things.

It's hard to describe, but I'll give it my best shot. :)
As I said before, it's the little things...

It's the late night calls, sat on the cold tiles of your balcony, overlooking the city lights.
It's that moment when your phone rings, but your arms are laden from a long day of shopping in the city.
It's running for the last train, hand in hand with the guy you like, then missing it and having to wait until morning.
It's that following morning, sitting at Central station as the morning sun beats down on the city, with bacon and egg muffins, waiting for your connecting train.
It's lying on the grass at Southbank, basking in the sunlight, blogging on your iPad. ;)

But most of all... It's the people.
Well... Not the people... The moments and memories you create with the people.

I can't count the number of amazing memories I have, that are backgrounded by the city lights and monuments, featuring my favorite city people.

"Life isn't about the number of breaths you take, but the number of moments that take your breath away." :)
